Born and raised in Ohio, John Taylor is a singer-songwriter currently based in Austin, Texas. Since releasing his self–titled debut EP in 2022, John has been performing regularly throughout Central Texas, and recently finished recording an album, slated for release this year.

John’s music is a snapshot of him, where he’s been, and where he’s going. You can hear heartland rock influences in his storytelling, from the Rust Belt to the heart of Texas – a trip well worth the taking.

In 2021, John developed Noteworthy, a radio show and podcast in which he interviews musicians that influenced him, creating opportunities for the music community to listen and learn. Featuring artists such as John Illsley of Dire Straits, David Grissom and upcoming guest Chuck Leavell, Noteworthy is broadcast on KGTN Radio Georgetown.
